DEADPOOL 2 Poster - Creation of Adam Parody

Ryan Reynolds tweeted a new promotional poster for “DEADPOOL 2” early yesterday morning, depicting Deadpool and Cable in the place of man and god in a parody of the famous “Creation of Adam” painting. Promotion for “DEADPOOL 2” has certainly been taking on a theme, as most of what we have seen so far has been references to classical art (the Thanksgiving poster) and painting in general (the hilarious Bob Ross parody). Ryan Reynolds even had a recent announcement for Deadpool tattoos at a Brazilian comic convention.

Does this art theme have any hint toward what the new “DEADPOOL 2” movie is all about? Perhaps I’m missing something and I really need to catch up on some Deadpool comics. If you look on the bottom right of the poster, we see the words “The Second Coming”. This has to have some kind of double meaning referring to something in the movie that hasn’t been revealed yet.

I’m pretty excited to see Cable, played by Josh Brolin, in Deadpool. They had plenty of opportunities to put him in X-Men movies (“Days of Future Past”) and those were just squandered. There have been entire comic series starring Deadpool and Cable, and they have great chemistry between their characters. I can’t wait for the new film with the two of them in it!

Twin Peaks Season 4

Writer/director David Lynch has now casually dropped a hint he’s not done with the world of Twin Peaks . Specifically, he says one particular character’s arc is “calling” to him, suggesting he has some ideas stirring for a follow-up to 2017’s hit revival season. As reported by Twitter user Scott Meisner , Lynch was asked at a recent Q&A session if he has more stories to tell surrounding Carrie Page, Laura Palmer’s doppelgänger, who was introduced in the third season. “It is calling, but there are a lot of disturbances,” Lynch reportedly responded, in a typically cryptic fashion for the creator. Even if Lynch is serious about tackling more Twin Peaks himself, it’ll likely take a number of years before a fourth season actually hits the airwaves — the third season took five years to develop and shoot its 18 episodes, after all. Eminem's 1st Choice For "Walk On Water" Feature Wasn't Beyoncé

Eminem’s first choice for Revival ‘s lead single “Walk On Water” wasn’t Beyoncé. According to Shady’s longtime producer and member of D12 Denaun Porter, the Detroit rap goliath initially wanted British pop phenom Adele to sing the hook. In an interview with ThisIs50, Porter explained “something happened with her and her voice so she couldn’t do it.” He also added, “There’s only a couple people that could pull that off,” when speaking about Mrs. Shawn Carter. Revival was released on Friday (December 15) to tepid reviews. The 19-track project, which features several pop stars like Ed Sheeran and P!nk, serves as Em’s follow-up to 2013’s Marshall Mathers LP 2. First Look at Hawk & Dove from DC Superhero Series ‘Titans’

A couple weeks ago, we got our first look at Brenton Thwaites as Robin in DC’s upcoming superhero series Titans from Arrow and The Flash co-creator Greg Berlanti alongside Akiva Goldsman , Geoff Johns , and Sarah Schechter . Today, we’ve got the first image of superhero duo Hawk/Hank Hall ( Alan Ritchson ) and Dove/Dawn Granger ( Minka Kelly ). Like the Robin costume, these outfits were designed by Laura Jean Shannon , whose credits include Black Lightning , Iron Man and The Jungle Book . And the costumes look…fine? The hard thing to judge with superhero costumes, is that it’s hard to see how they move, but going solely by this still, I appreciate that Shannon is trying to find the bridge between something realistic and something that is definitely in line with the comic books, which is a challenge when you consider that Hawk & Dove have a couple of the more colorful outfits out there.
